What is a phone greeting?
A phone greeting is the spoken text callers hear, such as a welcome message, a menu, an on-hold text or a closed announcement.
Do I need technical knowledge?
No. You type the text, pick a voice and download the file. No studio or software required.
Which file formats do I get?
You receive the greeting straight away in the right format for your phone system (WAV and MP3). At checkout you pick your system, such as 3CX, RingCentral, Vonage or GoTo Connect, and we deliver exactly the file that fits.
Which languages can I create greetings in?
Currently in English. More languages may follow.
Can I use my own voice?
Voice cloning is coming, with a careful consent procedure. Until then you can choose from professional voices.
Can I also create on-hold music?
Yes. On the on-hold music page you create music for callers on hold, with your own spoken message on top. The music comes with a statement about the music rights. On-hold audio costs $36 or 2 credits.
How do credits work?
Credits are prepaid balance you buy at a discount in a package on the pricing page. One greeting costs one credit; credits never expire and you use them directly in the greeting maker.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes, automatically. With every paid order you receive an invoice attached to the confirmation email, and you can always download it again via the order page or your account.
Can pronunciation of a name or number be fixed?
Yes. If the voice reads a name, number or abbreviation the wrong way, tell us how it should sound in the greeting maker and we fix it before you download the final file.
